Transmedia Storytelling

Henry Jenking talks about Transmedia Storytelling, and I really liked something that he mentions on the start of the interview which was "exploring and rethinking the terms of the media", because this is how life works. That means that the media is evolving and is growing, just like human beings do. I had a discussion with a friend of mine which was about storytelling, and how people that do not have a good way to tell you a story, are boring or not interesting people. Human beings, we love stories and we love to hear them in different ways like; movies, soap opras, songs, short clips, YouTube videos, and even face to face stories.

We are on an era in which storytelling is a huge thing for all ages, because of technology. Now pretty much every person has access to a camera, because phones have cameras. That is the only thing you need in order to create a video. So now more people have access to this world of storytelling in the online media. I also believe that storytelling keeps your imagination going, and helps you get creative in life. Art is such a big thing right now because people have discovered that this is a way to tell stories, video making,  designs, photos, etc, all of these are telling stories.
